Hi Ibkb24. I'm guessing the charging circuitry is inside the light. Are you asking about the Power Adapter (the thing that plugs into a AC wall outlet)?

If yes, and it plugs into the same port in the light that the car charger plugs it, you can measure the voltage that comes out of the car cigarette socket plug in. It's probably 12 volts like WarHawk said.

Most power adapters are positive in the center and negative on the outside. If you have a power adapter that fits the light's charger port and is the appropriate voltage, it should work. If the power adapter starts getting hot, you probably need one with a higher amperage rating.

I have two cords, one is a car plug in with no ratings on it and the second is Model WJ-Y35350900300D - input 120V ac 60HZ, output 9Vdc 300mA. I believe these are the two that came with the flashlight, however the back of the flashlight says 4.5V rechargeable 4000MAh Alkaline Battery. Are these the right two cords? Thank you very much for your help.
