The brave rodent in the video is an adult albino rat. I know this partly because I also had pet mice.

In that classic episode, Sylvester and his son confuse the joey for a giant mouse. I love it when Sylvester gets his @$$ handed to him by the "giant mouse." Sufferin' succotash!
Watching Sylvester as a kid I could never understand how a mouse could be mistaken for a Kangaroo. Still cant. Loved the cartoons though.
