People who use this community often have many lights.
UIs that are favorites usually have 1C on/off, 2C turbo/highest ramp, 3C to aux/strobe/sos/beacon, 4C lock/unlock.
So it’s simpler for us if you follow the convention and easy to remember.
5C is sometimes used for switching between ramping/stepped modes.
People here generally are good at clicking correctly. That comes down to a well-designed switch.

Rather than a magnet anywhere in a keychain light I’d appreciate a way to disconnect it from the keychain instead. May not be possible for the price you’re trying to achieve but if you could include one that works with standard split rings in the box, that’d be a lot simpler.

Magnets in a keychain light tend to cause my keys to bunch up together, and the pen I carry with the steel clip sometimes gets dragged out and I have lost 2 of them due to this. No magnets please.

Sidelight as high CRI, warmer CCT would be good with a frosted lens. Front light I don’t care so long as it’s not really green DUV.

Hi team, sorry I’m a bit late, I just found this post after googling the KC1 from your latest WK2 update. Here are things that I would appreciate:

  • the keychain attachment hole to be large enough for standard paracord
  • I like having a magnet (such that a paracord lanyard if attached does not affect magnet functionality)
  • a good low moonlight that is accessible from off without cycling through brighter modes
  • replaceable battery, AAA/10440 would be lovely. But if not replaceable, please make a waterproof usb port rather than relying on a rubber flap that can wear out and fall off
  • I would like the pattern to be milled rather than painted/anodised but figure this will add cost
  • some kind of always on very dim locator light, to locate it in pitch darkness (able to be turned on or off by a several-clicks button press). Could maybe indicate battery life as well, or flash intermittently to use less battery.
  • a beacon mode might be useful with the red light
