Have this one. Angry blues 5050 leds some pwm driver with 2 modes and low mode have visible pwm bweeh. But its heavy duty made to last.

Was not expecting high CRI but I don’t think its needed for building a deck.

Would have been nice to see a swappable battery. What are you supposed to do if the battery is close to dead and you are just starting a job where the light is needed.

DeWalt has a screwdriver tool with a removable 8 volt battery. I think it would have been nice to build a light using that.

Dewalt has a bunch of lights that take their new 20 volt batteries. I have a few but when I’m on the jobsite more often than not I’m installing the meter and hooking the power up. Once we do that very few people worry about wasting batteries on a job light. Most crews starting jobs have generators or they wait till us sparkys have the job site meter loop hooked up. Battery powered items light lights that sit still too long tend to grow legs, ESP if that battery can be used in somebody else’s tools. I’ve seen whole tools stole. I’ve also seen batt packs swapped out with somebody else’s crap pack that won’t take a charge anymore.

They will then look at 16 recepts on 8 different breakers job meter loop and plug everthing into one circuit with those stinking 3 or 4 way splitters and wonder why the breakers keep popping. A rant for another day.

Sofirn if23 is cheaper. Idk how well it works as a work light in practice though. I’ve been meaning to pick one up
