Dial selector on Luxpro XP910 has stopped working

This Luxpro XP910 had a problem with flickering too much, I took it apart and cleaned all the contact points with Deoxit and alcohol and somehow fixed the flickering problem. I’m guessing it was a bad ground contact point but now the dial intensity selector switch doesn’t work and the led is really dim. Any advice on troubleshooting or fixing this problem?

Loosened retaining ring?

Whenever I see flicker, it’s either a wonky switch (usually) or bad driver contact (rarely).

Whenever a driver goes mental, it’s almost always a bad contact like loose retaining ring that holds it down and grounded.

Plus, always check the battery, too. If it’s nigh dead, or the driver thinks it’s nigh dead, then it’ll be stuck in low and the driver just won’t let it attempt to get into medium, high, etc.

Yes I managed to fix the flickering on this flashlight by taking it apart and cleaning everything but now the intensity dial switch doesn’t work anymore and the led is really dim now

No idea. Probably the sensor part of the ring. Hall-effect? Magnet fell out? Dunno.
