The LD01 XP-G R4 may just be my favorite light of all-time. It's far superior to anything I've ever seen in the 1xAAA format.

They have increased the price of the gray gunmetal Tank E09 from 12.39$ to 24.69$.
This will not help DinoDirect to increase sales.... XP
Also I purchased one of the flashlights promoted in this thread but still continues as "order approved" since last week or the prior I can´t remember...........
All that is very nice but the problem is that you never know what you'll get from dinodirect, you order Ultrafire, you may get Tangfire, you order SkyRay, you may get different Uniquefire flashlight, etc.
And these are not rare, sporadic mistakes, these mistakes are quite often.
On many pages you have one thing in description, other thing in title, something different in URL and again something different on photos.
So, whats this, a lottery?

DD is no flashlight specialist but a large etailer of anystuff with varying suppliers. Talk cree lingo with otta or emily, joe, or william and be sure that nobody will understand what you're talking about. with a relaxed approach and attitude and not taking your business too seriously, plus the trifold discounting options, the lottery can be a fun experience just think positive. if you lose the lottery, you'll get a generous giftcard from cs.
If DD offers a competitive price (after the 3x discounts) for a product you're interested in, you should consider DD as potential source of pleasure in summer much love.
And you can spend hours trying to explain something to cs. That's fun?I know they sell all kind of items but if they advertise SkyRay flashlight, and if they have SkyRay on photos, its not some big accomplishment when they send you that SkyRay. But they dont, they send you different flashlight.
They dont have to be flashlight specialists, (although, if they have, I dont know 2000 flashlights in offer, it would be good to have someone who knows something about them), they just have to order their stock properly. I know they are a big webshop, but is not my fault they mess up orders repeatedly, thats their fault.
You buy something because it has low price, and than you end up with some even cheaper crap that you never wanted, and that you could have buy on some other website for that same price :o
Before you start tooting the Dino-Direct horn too much here tell the folks how many orders you guys have screwed up by sending out items that weren't as advertised or wait until a person orders and then tell them 3 days later that the item is currently out of stock. The last order I placed with DD I was told later that a flashlight I ordered was out of stock. Then the other light I ordered said it had shipped. Then the light that was said to be on backorder shipped like a week after the first one and I ended up getting it before the other. You guys are so messed up you don't even know what day it is let alone on what your selling or whats the status of a persons order. Your about as backwards of a runned company as any I have seen.
Since you keep bringing it up, I'll bring it up: I've never gotten anything wrong from Dino. Their customer service has always been excellent through live chat. I've been happy with all of my purchases from there and they have shipped reasonably quickly.
Well I placed about 6 orders with Dino-Direct. Only 1 went right.
Now what does that tell you?

They lie fluently, take zero interest loan from you and think all they customers are campers.

... and by nothing, I mean nada, zip, bupkis.
Their CS was constantly pushing me to wait (which I understand, sorta), but by day 44 or so, I pulled the paypal trigger and waited a few more weeks.
Still nothing, so forced a refund. I'll never order from them again. (Granted, one order isn't a statistically significantly sample, but it was enough for me.)
Generally, I've gone off the shoddy vendors. DX, DD, FP will get nothing more from me. I'm leaning to the ones that actually seem to believe in customer service. As a f'rinstance, I got batteries from HKEquipment.net delivered to the UK in a week. Yes, seven days. That's fricking amazing, as far as I'm concerned. They might have been a buck cheaper from DX, but I feel like I'd be waiting months and then finally going to paypal.
I’m not sure but DD seems better of late. I have placed a few small order recently and they have all come quick and were what I ordered. I had some problems with them but right now, if you order one item at a time, you should not have problems. I only order one item from them because if an item is out of stoxk, they will delay items that are in stock. For me, right now they seem to be as good as most. They sure had some issues but do seem to be improving. Summer is at least on sitr with us so I am willing to give them a few more chances.
That Bronte X20 also looks interesting, but I already have lots of similar lights :o
Its to bad it doesnt have high-low driver setup or something similar.
It seems it has hi-mid-low with strobe on seperate side-button.
Is anybody aware of review of that light? Lux readings?

If you're going to increase the prices 50-100%, then the subject of this thread shouldn't be "great prices" anymore. Maybe great prices for Dino if you can get anyone to pay $26 for a E09.
