Was looking through some older posts on BLF and came across this thread. Now I have this light, it’s all disassembled, and I would really like to mod it. Has anyone managed to do so? Is there a way to integrate a clicky switch in there somehow? I think the biggest sticker is the magnetic slider. If there’s any way to get around using it, that would be great.
I’d really like to drop a FET driver zener modded running an MT-G2.
I know this, however as this will never be used for diving I’m looking at any other way of switching it conventionally. I don’t want to use the sliding magnetic switch unless someone has a driver which will work with it.
I wonder if there is a way to make a twisty type of switch? Maybe that’s out of the question…
