Diving light, material selection

hi

with a friend, we would like to create a diving light, a canister.

something like

we plan to use many: Keeppower 26650 5200mAh battery (lenght: 71.1mm - diameter: 26.4mm)

surely in different setup

3x22650 ( 1x1x1)
6x22650 ( 2x2x2)
9x22650 ( 3x3x3)

we would like to be able to interconnect theses different setup, but i think that would be difficult and not a priority for the begining.

for the wreck head, diameter should be arount 66mm

i want to support many brightness levels: high, medium and low

for the del, we have checked the XHP70, XHP50, XM-L2 T6, CREE MK-R, SBT-70, SBT-90… and XHP70, XHP50 seem the best in term of power, price, size… if you have any suggestion…

i check the thread about XHP70

to get more information

could be nice to be able to have 1 to 6 del

i saw some reflector for XHP70

do you know any driver, MCPCB, reflector that could fill theses need?

thanks

You should be able to use a driver for a MT-G2 (6 volts). The only mcpcbs that I have seen for the XHP were made by adding copper pads to a XM-L mepco.

You could build a triple-triple xpl. You can get drivers, mcpcbs, optics and LED’s from Mtn electronics. I would bet that they will be carrying XHP soon also.

Mtn Electronics

they seem to have one mcpcbs for the XHP

will need to wait surely some week before there have more product for the xhp let
