Do any of you have DIY charging solutions for traveling with smaller 16340, 18350 and 14500 cells?
I want to try one of these TP4056 boards, and piggy-backing it with a 1-AA cell carrier. I’ll have to switch the resistor to 2K to lower the current, but that should be easy.
Why not simply use one of the many different single cell chargers on the market? Nitecore makes a few that would work, or is even that too big?
Yeah those are too big. I would like it to be sized for 14500 cells.

Do you guys think ~750 mah is too high for efest IMR 14500 cells?
I’d go with an Xtar MC-0. It has two charge currents .5A and .25A and fits anything from 16340-18500. 750mA is right around 1C for a 14500 which won’t kill it immediately but will shorten it’s lifespan. Better is 1/3C or even 1/10C.
