As you can see in the specs, it features two Cree XPL-HD emitters, one at 4000K and one at 6500K, so you can have one for neutral, one for cool and both in between tint.
Question to the knowledgeable: If the light can be opened, do you think the emitters could be swapped for high CRI ones (Nichia 219b for instance). What could go in the 6500K emitter’s place?
Would thermals be a concern, with the less efficient emitters?
It is a bit disturbing that this light steps down to only 100lm after a minute or two (depending on the setting), which could indicate bad heat dissipation. It would be so much better if it could maintain 250-300lm…

the 219c 5700k could replace the CW LED, though I prefer the 219b 4500k
difference in efficiency means less lumens, by about 30% if 219b, or about 15% loss with 219c?
for the 4000k 219c could work, or a 219b, the 219c is more efficient, meaning brighter, than 219b
219c are greener and brighter than 219b
it seems to be a 2 mode light with a couple extra bright levels for momentary use
I dont think heat is a problem on the lower levels, and the higher levels have both timers and thermal step downs… the 219b will be hotter…
The Aluminium will feel hotter to hold, the titanium will feel cooler to hold…
I have ordered the Titanium Ruin Crack Pattern, as I find it to be interestingly unique, and I already have some “serious” looking lights.

I am thinking of going for a 4000k Nichia 219b to replace the warm emitter, but I would also like to find a rosy alternative for the cool counterpart. As you said, the 219c is on the green side.
It all depends on if the light opens though.
In any case, a light with 3 color temperatures (both LEDs should give a mid temp, right?) available is interesting and fun.
