Does anyone know where to buy this BadBoy (Team Japan Alpha-1)

Does anyone know where to buy this BadBoy?

Team Japan:

"Easy to carry: 4.0KG"

It's an EDC!

And a zoomie!

Pocket clip?

I think I can find it here in Japan.. but maybe not below $10.000
Its brother also looks cool.
they were on a show here in Japan until yesterday.. pity I couldnt take a look (if I had time)

Finally, a design worthy of the “lumen cannon” moniker!

Looks so much like a weapon, it would probably be illegal here. :frowning:

Very tacticool. How many blinkie modes does it have?

In the video, it looks like there’s some water inside/behind the lens?

But it still works!

Leaftye, it has high and low mode for strobe and normal illumination. The battery alone weighs 1.35kg too!

Funny video, like the bucket at the end, the light does seem to have water inside the lens, big fail!

i was waiting for some beam shots, what a boring video, just watching a flashlight get a hose down.

But they look cool don’t they? I would like to see a real-world demonstration of the high beam.

Maybe in the not-too-distant future we’ll have light cannons like this (imagine it’s a flashlight):

heck yea that light looks cool. but it better have at least 8000 lumens coming out and 300 kcd to match its cool looks

Only 1.5 kilometers?

Water getting inside from what I would consider to be equivalent of heavy rain.

Complete fail, and I'm guessing it costs as much as some cheap cars.

Of course any government will buy them by the truckload, after all it's very tacticool.

High performance, portable searchlight Mega Ray
Posted on January 19, 2012 by admin Posted in Global Research

Megarei MR-175 is a portable searchlight with a brightness by a lens system and a proprietary use of high-power arc xenon lamp, can check the object of 3km destination brightness and read newspapers at a distance 1.8km or more.

The system of separate battery unit and light part, and reduce the weight of the total weight 8.06kg, high portability, it has the operability.

Where the searchlight mounted equipment location or impossible to get in power, such as mountainous regions is impenetrable, show power in a location that does not retract the code. Also there is no need to worry about, such as the length of the code and the location of power.

Irradiation mode, feature-rich lightweight
Body of Megarei is made by durable high-impact plastic injection molding, thus contributing to weight reduction. Lens which is specially designed will send out a beam that was focused. The lens can be manually adjusted between 6 degrees twice.
In addition to the radiation angle adjustment of the light beam, you can set the beam of three. You can have a long time battery in low light “low-beam”. I will output the strongest luminosity “high beam”. In addition, strobe illumination of “high-beam” is possible with 8 Hz. It can also be used as an infrared searchlight with IR filter provided.

Freely power system
You can as a major feature of Megarei, take power from 12 to 30 volts direct current with no attachment. As a result, it is possible to receive power from the aircraft at any car, and truck. Electrical circuit is protected against reverse polarity connection by mistake.
Temperature cut-off mechanism and cooling fan protects the system from overheating. LED on the side of the body is news circuit breaker due to abnormal high temperature.
