Well it kind of looks like that big ass led u used a few years ago to make a high output custom BLF-GT? That was a Chinese led from memory.
seems like the DPD-20-0502 COB LED
No, this is a small LED. Appears to be a variant in the style of round phosphor LEDs shown here, just without the silicone cover.
Defintely a COB
The connection via solder pads next to the LES is typical for COB. Also the white silicone blob around the yellow LES/phosphor shows that this is a COB.
What is the forward voltage of this?
@SammysHP where are the bond wires for this LES on this COB LED? Why is this LES so weird looking, not like the 5050 round-die LEDs? And also, why are there no solder pads on the top of ‘Yinding’ 5050 round-die LEDs visible? Right, because the 5050 have contacts via XM-footprint on the underside.
Hey that’s me
And ya that’s definitely not the same that’s a cob
The holes around the side of the LED suggests either generic or Osram vibes. What is the footprint, and are there photos from directly above the LED?
Here you go.
Thank you!!!
