Charge it in a normal charger and you degrade the cell. Battery capacity will progressively be reduced. It already has a tiny capacity to start with.
For a non-diy charger get a quantum DD / D2 10180 charger. Illuminationsupply was selling them a couple days ago but listing just disappeared.
You can use a resistor in series to bring down the current a bit.
