I damaged my C8 driver and potentially the emitter too when installing the wrong reflector.
Where can I get a good driver and emitter to replace the damaged one?
Links are welcome.
Thanks
I buy a lot of my drivers and emitters from IOS. They have good quality components, are reasonably priced and arrive quickly.

Thanks… but all these drivers don’t talk to me. How do I know what driver is good for a C8 and which led go with what driver.
sorry for noob questions.
Another way to put it, I want driver and led to replace my dead one (5modes ), I guess I can re-use the same pill.
what do I choose for around $10?

Or maybe neutral a neutral emitter if you have not tried one...
I damaged my driver/led in roughly the same way. Mine was loose from new and I tried to put it back together and it shorted out. It’s a design flaw common to C8s that makes them a fairly crappy light.
I looked around for a new driver/led but found it was cheaper to just buy a new C8. I replaced my busted C8 with a new one from Wallbuys for like $6 shipped. Might even have been $5 on sale. Can’t remember but I know I couldn’t fix it for that price.
Just get a new one. That way, you have some spare parts just in case. You never know when you might need a new tail switch or lens or something.
If the led lights up but only on low, does that mean that I only need to change the driver?
