Hi there! I’ve got a question for the experts in this forum:
I have screwed a triple XM-L Driver from a Kaidomain bike light: SKU S021404
I modded the light to make it waterproof and use it for scuba diving - works great but since the o-ring seal of the push button was pretty tight I pushed it too hard a few times and the switch on the back of the driver board broke off the PCB.
I resoldered the switch but now the light gives me some kind of error message when I connect the battery - It blinks slowly 14 times and then fast 4 times and then switches off. The green led to indicate battery charge stays on.
I only have little Information on the board other than the name (HX-1190B5, Olympia) since the two ICs on the front are scratched and unreadable. Here are two pictures of the driver without the switch:
Does anyone know what the error blinking means, how to fix it or which circuit may produce this kind of blinking?
The lower left solder pad of the switch broke off but it seems not to have been connected to any other components - I scratched off the paint carefully but didn’t find any connections as on the other 3 pads.
thanks for any help,
Phil
