I have this Brinyte BR01 flashlight with a red XPE N4 emitter. I don’t use it that often so want a nice, throwy white drop-in I can put in it. Can someone recommend a good budget drop-in for it?
Looks like a C8 to me, these are not drop in lights.
Update the emitter and driver is what you need to do.
There might be some screw in pills with that already premade since C8 is so popular but they are probably not going to be what you want.
All you would need is a soldering iron to swap parts.
I believe the C8 "screw-in" pills are hit or miss for one fitting another. Int'l Outdoor sells one, but no guarantee it fits.

Depending on the pill, this may be an option.
I want to leave my existing red pill intact so I can quickly swap it back in.
If you can build it yourself try this out.

The only problem I could see is if the reflector has small hole for the XPE, if it does then an XML or XRE will not fit. This goes for anybodys suggestions. If it is a reflector desinged for the XPE then you would have to buy another reflector unless you stick with a XPE or XPG emitter. Which those would be even harder to get in a pre-built pill.
EDIT - if you take a pic looking into the reflector one of us might be able to tell if it what kind of options you have.

Edit - probably cheaper to buy one thats already assembled and ready to go, but not as fun as building one though.
