Dual channel recommendations - D4V2 or D4K, or other?

Looking for some guidance from the many experienced folk on here on my next flashlight. I really enjoy the flood on my D3AA, but am looking for something with more power, and which combines a spot option for greater throw with a flood option in the same package. Anduril2 is a remarkable piece of software (thank you ToyKeeper!).

For context, I have a Convoy M21a (3000k) and S2+ (2700k), a Wurkkos TS22 (5000k), Acebeam E70 Mini (5000k), Emisar D3AA (1800k), Vastlite Minima Bow LEP, plus various smaller T-series Convoys (all warm).

The dual channel lights from Emisar look great to me, but I am undecided on the format for the dual channel light.

  1. Pocketable but it’s not going to be an EDC light anyway
  2. Throw and flood channels
  3. High CRI mandatory
  4. Warm tints preferred, but appreciate throw is limited by this - considering something like the 519a 2700k domed for flood, and NTG35 2700k for spot?

I have suitable 18650 and 21700 cells already so battery platform isn’t a limitation in that regard. However, I really dislike 26650 due to how fat they make the flashlights even though it looks like the D4SV2 is the throwier platform.

Other than buying both, what pros/cons are there to the D4V2 vs D4K in use?
Also, will the 519a and NTG35 in 2700k be too similar to bother with for flood and spot channels?

And if you have any other suggested models/makes, do let me know. Thank you in advance to you all, and to Sb for the forum.
