Is it practical to swap rechargeable sizes you have too many of for rechargeable sizes you need in the classifieds, i.e. 18650 protecteds for 16650? Or is the USPS going hemorrhage when I answer the question honestly that I’m shipping Lithium batteries? Ground by Pony Express is fine as long they don’t “water board” me!
Welcome to the forum! I suspect you are correct in that it’s not financially viable, however, no harm in trying, you could get some quotes online for shipping to see if it’s worth it for you.
Also, might have to do some capacity tests on the cells you want to swap to show they’re still good.
Personally, I only buy new cells, too many potential issues with (ab)used or “recycled” cells.
