Just arrived in a thick roll of bubble wrap and this is what was inside it.
No fancy box or other stuff, just straight down to business. Grey anodization looks neat.
Torch is very lightweight, feels really good in hand, grips perfect. This was a special order since I requested the seller to send me a unit without the HOT triangle logo on it’s head and they complied without any hesitation. So a big +1 for Shenzhen jin lang electronics co., LTD Aliexpress seller.
Came with a an extra Button cap (translucent green), 2 spare O rings and a quick release lanyard.
Close up shot of reflector and emitter. Order was for a Neutral white tint (U2-3C). The O ring between the glass and the head is not the “Glow in the Dark” type like convoy, this one is just plain black. Correction, it does glow in the dark.
Close up shot of Tail section. The button looks a bit bulged. Has 2 holes for lanyard on both sides, should help in tail standing while lanyard is attached.
Along with my LG ICR 3350mAh battery and some stuff I bought from Elfeland. As you can can clearly see the extra buttons I bought were of a bit larger size and may not fit. The metal clicky looks like the same size, will have to try that out later. Diffuser fits no problem but it’s material is too thick and will waste a lot of light.
Battery fits no problem, also has a bit of extra space. Once the sections are screwed in the battery won’t rattle. Threads are not lubricated.
You can see spotweld on battery negative pole, ripped it out from a powerbank.

Initial thoughts
So far my impression = “Most impressive”.
Lighter and smaller than expected.
Tint looks nice.
Feels real good to hold and is also sturdy
No lubrication on threads.
Tail stands but not very stable, so flat surface recommended.
Buttons were smaller than spares I ordered from Elfeland, but the spares were listed for convoy anyway.
Took 53 days to arrive.
So far I’m sassified.
Might do a teardown to see the driver and tail button later. Also maybe beamshot and runtime too. Depends on my free time. I really want to change the firmware, IF the mcu is Atmel tiny series.
