EAGLE EYE X2R XM-L2 Flashlight Torch USB charge 3modes 18650 battery flashlight

Got mine in today (paid for it myself, not a sample), very impressed for the price. The charging works great, about .8A charging rate on my measurements. The fit and finish are impeccable, the usual for Eagle Eye.

The modes are good and usable modes, the medium could be a touch lower just for a more visible change, but it is the equivalent of a 2x7135 driver and plenty bright for most tasks. The low is a good level for a low, not too dim, not to bright. High is about all I would want on a light like this for new users of LiIon. The light gets hot, but not scorching on high and left to tail-stand or lie sideways on a surface.

The 3C should be the stock light tint for Eagle Eye, in my humble opinion. It works and is bright yet not glaring. The convoy deep carry clip works fine on this light, and it carries easily.

I love the no blinky modes, a hidden strobe is OK, but I cannot recall a time I actually used a blinky mode except on accident. The low will run over 32 hours on a 3000mah 18650, and medium just over 4 hours, high reaches almost 2 hours. Good all around performance from a solid EDC light.

A bit lower medium (500ma or so), an extra USB charging port cover and that is all I can think of for tweaks on this current light. A moon mode would be a nice addition if the driver is redone, making the light four modes. The 550 lumen rating does not sound like much on paper with all the recent lights, but it is plenty bright for 90% of the needs out there.

Amazing light for the money, I heartily recommend it for a first time 18650 light. A great travel light as well, eliminates the need for a charger.

Great Job Eagle Eye, keep up the good work with the new 26650 light coming out this month!
