I’m thinking about replacing my 4 point Google Wifi mesh with a 3 point Eeros 6+. Anyone have any experience with them compared to the Google mesh in terms of performance and reliability? I have a 2nd gen Eeror Pro plus a beacon that I can add to the 6+ if needed for wider coverage (with of course poorer performance than the 6+ points).
My coverage is ok with the Google mesh but I find that I have to periodically reboot everything (not an uncommon problem it seems), which is very annoying.
I’m on a 1 GB ISP plan but my firewall reduces the throughput to 600Mbps.
I like this site for router reviews.
I was looking for a router with a lot of range, and I chose a winner because of that site.
I got two of these, but that was a couple of years ago and there’s probably better choices available now.

I use UniFi, it’s probably not for the casual home user but I’d definitely recommend it for an advanced user. Just don’t buy it banking ony planned features as ubnt do have a history of not delivering on things that were promised, but the base product is great.
The problem with picking something, as is the case with many things, is that I won’t really know how it performs until I get it into my house. Plus without being able to test it concurrently with another system I won’t know if it’s really the best choice
I suppose if it meets my needs, whatever it is, then that’s the best I can do.
At least these things aren’t all that expensive, and Amazon does have a great return policy
