I used my lights again for a minor emergency this evening. The electric stove self destructed with flame and black smoke. So I turned off all the circuit breakers and turned on the slim AA in my pocket. As I moved around, I switched to the SK68s I had out and then to the 18650s. Then I unplugged the stove and started to turn the breakers back on.
The last time was when the neighbors had a flood and turned off the power in case the water made a short circuit. I used the 18650s for light to mop up water.
