Pulled the trigger on a K9.3. Decided to get something that would feel pretty unique:

Switch: Amber
CH1: E21A R9050 2000K
CH2: W1 Yellow
Calling it the forest fire configuration. Hope I don’t regret the W1 Yellow on CH2, was pretty torn between that and the SST20 deep red.

That sounds like an awesome configuration. I have a 2000K KR4 and the tint is absolutely beautiful. Like a soft golden sunset for inside use

Nobody seems to be doing an Osram green on channel 2. So tempting just for the wow factor
Does anyone know how many lumens to expect from both the W1 Osram Green and SST-20 Deep Red? I was hoping to get a mix of the 2 for channel 2, but I hoping to have them evenly matched (as closely as is possible) in lumens. For example, if the SST-20 was twice as bright, the. I would see if Hank is willing to do 1 red and 2 green.
Also, what’s the best way to request a custom light? Email? A message here on the forums? Carrier pigeon? Something else?
Cool idea! I just emailed him to ask for a mix of 2700 and 4000’s for my D18. I think he charged me $10 or $15

I almost went with the Osram green for #3 but as cool as it would be, I can see myself using the red a lot more when I’m out in night, in the car with the family, etc.
So what batteries are you guys planning on using? I have (6) Samsung 30T 21700 3000mAh 35A that would be nice to be able to use:
I wish Hank would also offer it with the vastly superior Anduril V1 UI.
I debated about choosing switch backlights that would help me to easily tell the lights apart in the event I buy more (yellow for Osram yellow, green for Osram green), but in the end I decided to go with colors I knew I’d love
I haven’t had Anduril V2 yet what’s wrong with it?
I’m not sure what features are missing that made it ‘Vastly superior’?
I was on the fence about Anduril 2 but after reading though the operation it looks like everything is there but things are changed

I placed a second order for the K9.3 on NYE to celebrating 2021. New “blaster” configure, but paired up with green instead of red:

CH1: XP-L 4000K
CH2: W1 Green
Pretty excited for the green secondary channel.
Thanks Helio! Just ordered 6 to have an extra for each of my 3 K9.3’s. That config looks wicked… I’ll prob need to get another w/ green Osram but I felt like buying 3 at once was already a chunk of change, esp after getting some gear for skiing
If you can manage to find it in stock, the Vapcell T50 is much better than the 50E.
Hey Hank replied to me (quickly as always) saying, “ Samsung 30T is fine”
I have 6 of those already for some of my other lights. It wouldn’t have been a big deal to have to buy some new batteries but this is more convenient
30T is fine but the capacity is only 3,000mah so it won’t last long.
