Last night, a strip of supercells and big thunderstorms over 1000 miles in length rolled across an easy 200-300 miles of Texas. The lightning display was spectacular, far more intense than my little video, when it crossed over us around midnight. Storms stretched from down in Mexico to Oklahoma, without having seen news coverage yet I’m sure there were some catastrophic results.
Usually I see them called “puck lights” like a hockey puck, but for a parallel-18350 light I think a tuna can is a better description. On a related note, it’s hard to find good puck lights which can plug into a wall. I have some on the top shelf of my desk for some room lighting, but I had to look pretty hard to find any.
