Emisar D3AA is available now

Because Texas Ace’s lumens are higher than reality (= Maukka lumens, he’s the only one here with a calibrated professional integrating sphere)

Interestingly enough, there’s a very very recent LED tests in which TA’s numbers are very close to reality lmao.

And are these tables inaccurate or correct? -

XP-L HI V2 at 2A with Tj = 80C (have to guess here) : 689lm

TA result with TA to maukka factor : 685lm

Pretty close.

Well, you can control this environment and create conditions in which 219b will be brighter than xpl hi, regards
And where can I find information about the temperature at which other types of LEDs were tested?

Does anyone know what is the correct Anduril 2 build for the boost driver?

Hey guys what’s the advantage to the 519A? Like compared with the E21A R9050 2000K?

For K1 it’s anduril.(latest date).noctigon-k1-12v.hex

For all other boost drivers: anduril.(latest date).noctigon-dm11-12v.hex

Thanks

This is where Anduril becomes too advanced for me.

In my time spent researching the various Emisar/Noctigons that I was interested in, i got it in my head at some point that some dont come with the latest anduril updates and that you can request to have them flashed with it before shipping.

For example, im pretty sure it was in a LuxWad video about the boost driver lights still using Anduril 1? or an earlier version of 2? I cant fully remeber so dont quote me on that.

Anyway, I just recently ordered two Dual Channel D4SV2’s and sent an email asking “Can I ask as well to make sure they both have the latest Anduril 2 please?
I will not be able to update myself.” to which he replied with “Hi, that is fine.”

Im just a little worried now that I may have asked for something… other than what I though I was asking for?

Like, I think the dual channels have something called a FET disabled? I hope I didnt accidently imply that I wanted an enabled version or something other than what Its supposed to be or something like that.

Thoughts?

I barely asked that, because I’m troubleshooting one driver. They are functional from manufacturer, don’t worry about it.

Oh you’re fine. He’ll just flash the latest version of the standard firmware they come with. Nothing to worry about.

Okay, thanks!

These will be my very first “Hank lights” and a few things about them still have me a bit confused right now. Mostly to do with drivers and Anduril.
I am familiar with using Anduril 1 and 2 with my SC31 Pro and TS21, so Im at least pretty sure ill be fine using the lights once I get them. But it does look like it gets a bit more complicated if I want to start going a bit deeper with it. Flashing and whatnot.

Ha I have 9 Hank lights.

No need to brag lol

Although, thats all im really here to do at the moment, to say that they’re here!!
And in record time as well. I placed my order Friday May 20th, It shipped May 21st, and arrived today May 28th. On a Sunday no less.
Not only did I expect to wait at least a month as I do with every other flashlight order, but I thought I had gathered through all my reading that Emisar/Noctigon lights in particular take quite some time to arrive.
Maybe its just the hyped anticipation that makes it feel so long.
The past eight days have felt like a month waiting for these lmao.
I am SO excited to try these chonky little guys out!

(Still waiting for them to be dropped off to me. I have my mail shipped to a my dads address. I dont trust my deliveries to not go missing where I currently live.)

That’s awesome! Did you get K1s or D4SV2?

I was blasting my two K1 throwers off the 41st floor of a building I’m in at the beach. Pretty incredible

@Photon Master

I got two dual channel D4SV2’s.

Cyan with LH351D 5000k / W1

Grey with LH351D 2700k / Deep Red SST20

Ha, that sounds like fun.
Makes me wish my apartment was up high.
Or I wish I had what I have no back when I used to spend a lot of time at friends places who lived in higher apartment buildings.

They appear to have shipped in tint ramping mode.

Can anyone tell me how to switch from tint ramping to channel switching please?

And once in channel switching, what the button combo would be for the actual switching.

Thanks.

Im trying to figure out on my own, but theres a lot of stuff ive saved to dig back through.

any beam shot for d4v2, and KR4 of dedomed 519A vs domed 519A versions?

Check out this great video from Cheule. He goes through how to set up a dual-channel light in the ideal configuration for channel switching.
