Does anyone who has flashed Anduril know if the light has low voltage protection from running down with the aux leds? I’m switching my board to a red one that will be on high with a diffuser when the light isn’t in use. Will the light totally shut off once it hits 3v without the main emitters being turned on?

No. It has not.

No.

I can understand why he doesn’t want to keep every variant of both main LED and auxilliary on the D4S, but it has kept me from ordering from him a couple of times too. Maybe we’ll get an upgrade from one-color to multi-color auxilliaries, which would reduce the number of variants.

I used solid 24awg to flash mine and it seemed to fit the vias perfectly.

I purchased a green d4s with green aux lights and sst 20 4000k 95cri leds, ordered on the 17th of June 2019 did not ship until today the 28th following three emails requesting a tracking # I paid for but yet to see. Guess I ordered during a bad time being hank is busy with the newly released d4v2

Welcome to BLF!

Hank might indeed be very busy but he is a solid business owner. Should this be your first customer light purchase, your choice of options and flashlight cannot be argued with, wish I had done as well on my first purchase!

decide on “hold until hot” or “click N times” for thermal config mode
I prefer “click N times”.

TK!

S-T-O-P changing what does not need to change

I could be wrong, but I think the items on her todo list with an asterisk(*) are already done.

Yes, that file is a todo list, and the item in question was decided nearly two years ago.

It appears sob4ak misunderstood what he read, which is relatable. I’ve been meaning to change the filename to put “todo” in it, or perhaps just remove the file since it has already served its purpose.

What isn’t relatable is the violent threat he sent me in a private message. It’s amazing how some people think that sort of thing is okay.

:open_mouth: Wow.

Allow me to take a moment to thank you for all that you’ve done for this community. You truly make a difference.

No threat is acceptable.

I hope it was a language barrier, lost in translation thing. If so, an apology is necessary. If not, an instant ban, and I know SB takes it easy that way. Unacceptable. Completely.

Yea all in all I understand where he comes from, quit messing up what is already great

Pay him no mind. He’s probably one of those sorry losers with no social life and is frustrated that he’s unworthy even to score a date with your cute avatar. :stuck_out_tongue: BTW, I’m sure your avatar could whup him in a fight.

He is from Russia. I think violent threats are how they greet each other.

ROFL made my day

Purchased the green one from mtnelectronics.com becasue yes, that was the only color they had but
not a big deal for me, ordered it on Tuesday 7-3, they shipped same day and
I received it on Monday 7-7. Amazing light, yes, it gets hot on turbo but who needs to run it on turbo
for any length on time? Just ramp it down to say 1000-1500 lumen for normal use and all is fine.

Instruction sheet leaves a lot to be desired but gives the basics like, for the auxiliary lights, all it shows
is 7 clicks to enter, doesn’t tell you that there are 4 sets of 7 clicks to run thru the 4 modes but I found it
out by trial and error.

Only mode I have had some trouble with is the tactical mode, seems once I hit the 4 clicks to enter,
there is no way of exiting without loosening the tailcap to reset everything but oh well… small price
to pay for what this thing does.

Thinking about getting a second just for grins, unbelievable how much the technology has improved
in the last 3-4 years, to say nothing for how much the prices have dropped.

Totally pleased with this fire-starter.

Aw man I ordered a d4s on 06/17 from intl outdoor and I’m waiting on it, tracking says the light has arrived at o’hare international airport 07/05 but FedEx shows it’s still awaiting package it’s driving me nuts…

Just add some more options for the D4S.

1. Add cyan color options.
2. Add the SS bezel option.
3. Add the 26350 short tube options.(Currently there are black, grey, cyan color options, the green 26350 tube is not available for now)

Wah! Does that mean that a version 2 isn’t on the horizon? Oh well, I’ll save some $ I guess.
