It’s rumoured. All I have seen is some people have got a D4s with a tailcap that says V2. Fingers crossed.

I have seen many on reddit with D4Sv2 tailcaps.
Speculation is that he produced v2-branded tailcaps due to imminent launch of v2. But launch was delayed (maybe due to muggle-gate?), so he used these v2 tailcaps on v1 flashlights.
If a v2 comes soon, all these v1 with v2 tailcap will cause confusion on the used market.
