Emisar headband is available.

Some modified version of the D3AA driver. Should have said KR3AA

modified how?, D3AA driver does not support dual channel..

the D3AA driver already supports 3 LEDs.. Are you just asking for a tailswitch model w 3 LEDs?

Yes

2 Thanks

For me, I want a 18650 Triple.
Basically a slimer lighter Triple KR4.

6 Thanks

I’m +1 on a KR3AA (14500/AA)

1 Thank

If I understand correctly that is
1 KR3 18650 Dual Channel request
2 KR3 18650 requests and
2 KR3 AA/14500 requests

I hope all your dreams come true.. After I get my KR1AA first! LOL

8 Thanks

KR1AA is basically a flood light, I’m afraid it’s not more throwy than D3AA even with the SFT-70 LED used.

15 Thanks

When can we expect it to release? More or less? Can’t wait!

By the end of this month.

Oh there will most definitely be a KR1AA in my near future. Probably several.

1 Thank

Since the KR1AA is as floody as a D3AA and TS10

I dont see any point to a KR3AA, which would also be floody, plus the head would be needlessly bigger

otoh, the KR1AA has advantages over the TS10..

dual fuel, and NoPWM

I hope the November tariff does not lead to even more undelivered packages from Hank

Hank is my Hero for coping with the chaos of USA mail

7 Thanks

Dang, kind of a bummer. Was really hoping for this to be a bit more throwy!

What is the height of the TIR?

My vote also goes to slim KR3 - 18650

3 Thanks

The market’s first triple emitter AA compatible anduril 2 tail switch flashlight! Also, the trio - D3AA (side switch) DW3AA (right angle) & KR3AA (tail switch). It would be Noctigon’s first 14500/AA too. Hank would’ve conquered the absolute best 14500’s!

5 Thanks

Dang so confirmed KR1AA will be floody. Still, gonna be a great replacement for the TS10/FWAA but with a better driver!

Back of the napkin math tells me SFT70 3000K should be a little throwier than TS10/FWAA and NTG50 should be about the same, wonder if a floodier optic will be needed for NTG50 though like for the D4SV2 to prevent donut hole in the beam

I’ll throw my vote in for a KR3 18650, like a FW3A. A straight bodied KR1 (KRA1?) like a FW1A would be even better for me though

Also an updated Emisar D1S would be great, a D1S v2 or D1SK (D1S but 21700). Something in between the KR1/D1/D1K and K1 in throw, SFT25R in a D1S v2/D1SK should get like 300,000cd

3 Thanks

I don’t see any reference to the dimensions, but it seems like the KR1AA could get more throw with a deeper optic. It would be cool if Hank could offer a deeper bezel and optic for those wanting more throw. I’ve done that with a TS10 converted to a single.

I’m not convinced that the optic depth has very much to do with throw besides setting the focal length…hypothetically, a dual fresnel system with a shallow reflector dish might be a super thin way to collimate the light, but would be much more expensive to implement.

KR1AA oal length: 79. 5mm, same as D3AA

D3AA has a 24mm bezel, KR1AA has a 21mm bezel

D3AA uses a 20mm optic, KR1AA has a 17mm optic

both lights have Floody beams

1 Thank

The KR1AA isn’t floody because of the optic, it’s floody because of LED choice.
Because Hank uses a boost driver in it, only 6V LEDs can be used, and there are no 6V LEDs available with a small light emitting surface.
Same reason why the DA1 and DA1K are floody.
