Nitecore P30 code please.
Got this one.
I like it better than the H60 deal …
NW, magnetic, and tail stands if need be.
Thank you
I do agree, if you do not need built-in charging function and extra battery for HC60.
Order placed! Thanks a lot!

Wow, that’s a bargain on the Tip! Can we confirm they are 100% the version 2 model though?

Several reports have mentioned that Winter Edition TIP does not flash on click in lock out mode. Can we assume it as upgraded V2 then?

We could assume, but why do that?
Is it so difficult to get a straight answer from GB?
I’ve asked, they answered in a classic “chinese” way saying nothing, so I’ve asked again and I’m waiting for their reply.
This high parasitic drain during lockout issue is rather confusing for all vendors. Non-flashlight users may have trouble understanding the magnitude of the issue (blame the maker). Therefore, they are unable to provide you the best answer for your question.
Is it really so difficult to answer, since I gave them clear instruction how to check it?
[…]
If you don’t know the difference between V.1 and V.2, do this very simple test to check it:
- Put it in lockout mode. (*)
- Press any of the 2 buttons.
3a) If it flashes red it is V.1 (has lockout drain bug - battery dies in a couple of days).
3b) If it doesn’r flash red, it is upgraded V.2 (no lockout drain bug). Please answer clearly, cause I'd like to buy a couple if they're V.2!

(*) Lockout/Unlock
Hold down both switches until the main led flashes once to enter lockout mode, the product will be rendered inoperative to prevent accidental activation. To unlock, hold down both switches again.
I'm sure that if my 10 y.o. daughter reads the above, she'll be able to check any TIP and give a straight answer... GB's " professional product department" and CS can't?!?!?!
Clear instruction < It is an official method of verification from manufacturer? I doubt.
I don't know. What I know is that I've read this method in BLF. It's been posted from many respectful members. Glad to read though, if you doubt that method, if you have another one (preferably official from manufacturer) to propose.
If you have further questions, please drop GB BLF rep a PM.
Despite the fact that I've asked (not only me) at GB's thread, don't need to PM it's rep.
As I've said, I've asked GB's CS (as most probably GB's rep @BLF would do) and I'm waiting for a clear answer.
As I haven't said (so far), I've also e-mailed Nitecore (earlier today).
I’m interested in buying some of your great Nitecore TIP Winter Edition gift set (Blue/Red & Green/Red), as I’m a great fan of your products and I believe these are a great gift for X’mas.
Please inform if all of these Winter gift set you have produced (from the begining up to now) are the upgraded V.2 (without the lockout drain bug that battery dies in a couple of days), or if you had also produced some V.1 that are out in the market for sale (I've asked some sellers but they haven't answered clearly so far).
I believe that's the best way to find the truth. Not assuming.
