You will probably need a raise contact in between both cells.How about magnet (15mm x 1mm)? I will try to ask to include FOC for each pair battery sold.

Any estimations for the price?

Looking at the picture of the basen 26650, it looks like the flat top sticks far enough out tot make contact with the orther cell when using it in series.
