No one here has paid yet. We all want the cheaper group buy price. It’s not a huge amount cheaper, but a little bit cheaper. We are all just waiting as it could be months before it is released. Currently it’s not meeting it’s rated specs so we where trying to see if Astrolux are able to increase the reflector diameter.
I canceled my order after reading the posts here. Still interested if it meets specs.

Usually the codes will come out around the time the light goes on sale.
Any news regarding the negotiation of the increase in size of the reflector?

It's Philips screw head.
From BG rep's tone, manufacturer seems to reluctant to redesign for the head. 
This is definitely more costly and time consuming route, but it is inevitable if they truly want to make a name for their brand.
Meanwhile, they will produce new reflector prototypes for test.
Maybe we will get a MF-02 / XL down the road, with even more powerfull diode and bigger head.
It seems Astrolux is going for the bargain priced thrower market to try and pull sales away from similar sized lights like Niwalker, Manker and Acebeam. Even though performance may not match those lights, it is close and the price is much less.
