This doesn’t surprise me. If you look at the Eagle Eye store Shenzhen Jin Lang Electronics they have several lights with that brand including the X1R light. In fact, it looks like they may be transitioning all their lights to this new brand name.
I prefer Eagle Eye simply because I can’t pronounce their new name. Lol

How hard is opening it? How long is the hold to turn off?
I completely disassembled by hand only, without tools. But twirled strong enough.
To turn off, hold down the button for 1 second.
