Just got mine and so far so good! Did yours arrive?

Interested, thanks

Interested depending on price.

Thanks

It’s possible they used a cheaper N35 strength magnet. You might try the same size magnet, but in an N50 strenth.

Does anyone know if you can use 2 CR123’s?

It is not stated... better don't try. Haha.

Got mine too, finally.

Good value for this money.

Yes,the LEDs under the button are definitely very bright, especially the green one…

3 well spaced modes and no (visible) PWM. :+1:

Yep, the magnet is too weak…
It’s a bit plump too, compared to a H03 Skilhunt and the like.
But you get the extra LEGO part.

I’ll put a Nichia 219C in it soon, plus a TIR optic, and the button can be recessed without its bezel.

Thanks for the group buy.

If I tried it, what kind of damage could happen?

You could potentially fry the driver?

A standard pocket clip for almost any 1x18650 cell flashlight would fit X1R.

The UI is fine, just remember to unscrew the tail cap a bit preventing it to accidental turning on.

It’s not a buck driver, so the little FET will have to burn off the excess Voltage.
One of the CR123’s will just use almost all of its power to heat the little FET.

ordered, thanks freeme

Interested in 2 lights.

Interested! :+1:

…actually, the R500 resistor will burn it off…
It’s not a CC driver.
Current is dependent on battery voltage.
bummer…

Modes have PWM, but it’s high frequency, so it’s invisible and inaudible.

What is the size of the reflector and where to buy TIR optics for this flashlight? Will this be good - DIY Convoy T5 / U2 Hochreflektierende LED Linse für Convoy Taschenlampe Sale - Banggood Deutschland-arrival notice-arrival notice
