I’m looking into buying some NiMH’s in the near future; the price from amazon seemed a bit off-putting, I can’t recall ever seeing Amazon beat an FT price on batteries… raised a bit of a red flag.
Alright, so I’ve gone through about 80 AAA alkaline and about 100 AA over the summer(Got them on ridiculous sale during black friday of last year). I’ve got ~10 AAA left, and ~25 AA left.
So I’m going to pick up ~12-16 Eneloop AAA and ~12 AA for trailcam/remotes. A couple questions remain after I spent quite a bit of time researching NiMH batteries.
1. Can’t seem to find a definite answer as far as priming the new Eneloop batteries goes. Do I need to?
2. Are there any issues that would arise from placing 8 Eneloop AA in a trailcam for a period of 2-3 months?
