I have a new eneloops charger from Japan with a 2 pin connection .
At home I have a shaver unit which says both 240v & 110v and the charger fits fine in the 110v slots fine & trying to fit it into 240v slots just can’t happen as the design is different.
I was looking to buy a 2 to 3 pin plug to follow the UK 240v.
Is it ok to to charge using 110v as the shaver unit allows and as the charger says?.
Would the charging times be different ?.
How long should the charge take for say 2 batteries?…2 hours?.
These are eneloop pro xx’s if it helps.
Thanks…its says SANYO NC-TGR02.
Its got eneloop writing on it too.
This was purchased from someone in Japan selling these over on cpfmp.
Hope this all helps…
By the way I charged the xx pros at 9PM and by 1130PM the green light was off.
So maybe it takes just around 120+ mins and the light goes off.
Have you read the text and specs on that page Chloe? I’m having a dispute with a seller at the moment because he said £0.01 and free shipping, when you order the shipping goes up to £4.70, I know I’ll not get anywhere but if it’s not a scam then they are idiots.
Thanks but the charging pins on this charger are straight and only fits into the 110v socket .
The 240v socket has like slight slanted slots.
Not sure if that amazon one would accept this charger.
Picture looks like its got slanted slots.
So not sure where to get a UK plug that will accept this…
Hope this makes sense lol……
The SANYO NC-TGR02 is a rapid charger, the real charging time depends of course on how empty they are. The charging current is often written on a label so you can determine how long a fully discharged cell will be charged.
It makes no differences if you use 110V or 230V, the internal electronics transforms it to just a few volt anyway.
Sorry to hear that. I do not know which of the sellers are reputable. It probably doesn’t help that Amazon tend to change the seller for a product url too. >.<
