It states “2.2 Ah and 2.6 Ah 18650 LG NMC cells” were used in the Nature article, but I haven’t heard of LG brand cells (not that that means much). Was LG the brand, or an abbreviation for something else?
There are LG branded cells of those capacities which were quite common in the laptop battery pack threads. I would presume it was the brand they were referring to.
