Just visited their website . To me these Extremebeams looks like Ultrafires with “Extremeprice”. Chargers also appear as those $4 one sold at DX. They may get some non-flashaholic order from them due to ignorance.

They are run by the guy who came up with ‘Superfire’ who were the first Chinese ‘imitation’ Surefire brand. Ultrafire was set-up by one of the people in charge of their OEM I believe. Reviews show that they are better quality build than most other *fire clones, but the UI is just as crappy and charger + cells still the same cheap rubbish. They certainly take a massive mark-up.

Well I bought the m1000 ,Yes it will not go a mile but it goes pretty far.Side by side with my olight m3x ,its not as far but the beam is wider so it covers more area.I know a lot of you guys don’t like the manufacturers overstated claims but the light itself is the toughest light I’ve ever owned.I’ve got all the big name lights ,surefire included and nothing has the heft of this one.The flood beam isn’t to bad,it has a few rings in it but its wide.If anyone mods flashlights try using this one,in my opinion you’ll be happy.I am not an expert on flashlights,but materials I understand , being in the trades for over 25 years I know a good piece of metal when I see it.I’ve spent nearly 2000 dollars in lights in the last 1 and 1/2 years and Chinese is Chinese,regardless of what name is in it.Another thing I notice of the different brand names is the machining is to similar,like no matter who’s name on it,its made in the same place.

Can you post up some pics of the light and some beamshots of the flood vs throw modes? Thanks.
