Sorry, but it IS a jump, a BIG jump.
it’s 8 times as much, that’s 800%.
Nanjg 105 and AK47 have figured it out long ago with their 10% - 30% - 100% mode spacing.
Each step being approximately 300% (3 times as much), which is just about right.
In this case that would be around 40 - 120 - 400 Lumen.
This “looks like” a doubling of the output, because the human visual system is indeed not linear.
Still wondering what the purpose of a 1-5 Lumen mode could be.
I know they exist, because other 10180 size lights use them, such as the DQG Hobi. But I’m fine with a regular lens like your lights have or even just a plain smooth reflector.
UI suggestion:
Press and hold from off - low (1or2 lumens?)
Press and hold from on - turns light off
Single click when off - memory/last mode used
Single click when on - advance through modes
Thanks. Actually I’ve been searching for this battery before and I’ve seen this shop. It’s probably the last one with them in stock. Sadly, $64 for shipping kills the deal.
I don’t know if they are the same as used in the Extremum (guess not), but take a look (I used Tinyurl to make the link shorte, as the original has 5 or 6 lines):
Thanks, though I’m not adventurous enough. At least at the moment.
The Extremum ones were said to be labelled as higher capacity than that.
I read about some comments about chinese “100 mAh” 10180s that were 70 really, so I’m not quick to invest. Especially that I don’t have equipment to compare them with my old AWs.
