Installed the F150R 4000k into a M21K.
I’m going to get some beamshot soon, but for now, here are some readings.
Some beamshots please
White wall-ish. Sorry, my TV is casting a blue reflection on the left side.
Photo settings locked…
This is on moon mode.
It looks like the sun.
Beautiful beam
Thank you
1 more against the same 531 emitter, different host with OP reflector.. D2GC uses the same reflector as the M21A.
Of causes you have to take this Oppl values with a view grains of salt… but… Negative -20 R9
Now i get why @Simon_Mao never showed any spectral measurements for this led
It’s pretty typical for low CRI LEDs.
Indeed
koef3 measured R9 -32 for SBT-90.2
I only measure the R1 to R15 values for high-CRI LEDs, whereas testing these data for standard-CRI LEDs is not very meaningful.
I would not say its not “meaningful” There are “ok” wiede spectrum low CRI lights and verry bad ons
Sure CRI and R values are not the best metric TM30 would be better… but so far some data is always better then no data. so i see no reason to hold back on this data.
The results are quite a bit better than many other lower cri emitters I’ve tested with my enthusiast equipment.
I’m actually very happy with the results and the beam is awesome.
Next I really want to put one in a larger reflector host.
L21A with a fet driver comes to mind ![]()
Or D5F
This is what I was thinking of trying. I have an unused host on standby
If I had one on hand. I’m just putting a cart together over at Superbuy. On the other hand I have 2 L21A on hand
Bro, I never intentionally held back on this data. Saying that is a bit of a misunderstanding of my intentions. I didn’t show that data firstly because I felt it was unnecessary, and secondly because no other netizen had requested it before. As for high-CRI LEDs, high CRI itself is their key feature, so I will definitely take the initiative to show the relevant data.
I should have mentioned. The LHP531 in this pic is way overdriven with a FET driver.
It’s not exactly an apples to apples comparison for insensity.
Opples to Opples?
