Hey guys!
I like my sunwayman F40A!
I like the diffusor!
but: i don´t like to put the diffusor on the light…
-> it is so precisely fitting that air is trapped and pops off the diffusor sometimes.
a way to get that thing in place is to wiggle-waggle the diffusor until it stays in place
oooooorrrr:
.
drill a hole (i used 1,2mm because it was already in the drill) a tiny bit below the step!
works perfect!
The simplest ideas are always the best. Good job! 8)

Nice tweak. What do you normally use your diffusor for?
nice idea… but don’t you want it tight fit so you can hang it upside down? :~

how to relieve air pressure from a plastic cap ?
seemed like a no-brainer
On the other hand ...... it's a smart place to drill the hole.

i would not do a modification if it made something worse
it stays put as before i drilled the hole!
@wight :
since now: just enlightening the crap in my basement
but i think i will use the duffusor in caves to get a good 360° flood for pictures

I just drilled a hole in the diffuser the same way you did…
It’s so much better (and it still stays on snug)!
Thanks for the idea!

a simple mind has often good ideas…
Thanks M4D M4X, doing this right now. The only thing I didn't like about one of my favourite lights, is fixed
