Fake TV

WooHoo, I’m going to Disneyland!!
My Grandboy turns 6yrs on May 7. They’re in SB, Calif. We will be gone from here for 10 days.
In past travels I have used various timers on lights to simulate us being here. I just bought the Fake TV LED lights which try to emulate an actual TV as seen thru curtains or obliquely from higher windows.
Our TV usage in the bedroom is as a nightlight so the one FTV-10 is to be in the bedroom and on 24-7. (in case of power outage)
The FTV-11 will be on in the living room simulating our watching hours dusk+4hrs.
Any actual reviews on these things?

I have the FTV-10. It works well and is quite convincing from outside.

It’s positioned about 12 feet from a large bay window with white vinyl blinds.

I leave the lights off in that room but have some lights on timers in other rooms.

I use a non-digital ‘vacation timer’ similar to this one. It runs on a 7-day cycle and turns lights on and off at different times on different days. I think it’s more convincing than a standard lamp timer that runs on a 24-hour cycle and turns on and off at the same times every day.

Search eBay for ‘vacation timer.’ They seem to have a bigger selection and better prices.

Let us know how the FTV-11 works out. I wouldn’t mind getting a brighter version.
