Fasttech - interesting new products - Flashlights, chargers, batteries and DIY and knives - please no discussions.

FastTech is becoming a very good place to buy SanRenMu knives, well all the Chinese knives really but they now have an outstanding collection of SanRenMu’s.
A couple of those 7076’s could be coming my way after pay day also the 7071 with 12C27 and tanto blade.

8steve88: Maybe bad news - they listed more Sanrenmu knives. Most are old models or the new edition of older versions. There are only a few new (some of the new Blue line of Sanrenmu, which is produced for the Chinese market):

Sanrenmu 7078MUX-GHP Stainless Steel Folding Knife w/ Pocket Clip
68mm 12C27 blade / black + green or black + sand (FT call it toasted almond). These are from the Blue label - this is the reason, why it has not the SRM logo on the blade and only the Chinese letters), daul steel ball lock: $11,60. My link - non aff-link

Sanrenmu Land PR-905 Wooden Handle Stainless Steel Folding Knife w/ pocket clip / 85mm blade, liner lock (Land is and old brand of Sanrenmu). $16,95 My link - non aff-link

Sanrenmu 7073LUC-SK Stainless Steel Folding Knife w/ Pocket Clip 70mm blade, 8Cr14MoV, framelock, grey TI-coated (not complete TI) handle. $11,15. My link - non aff-link.

Two new colors of the 7049: Sanrenmu 7049LTX-PN Stainless Steel Folding Knife w/ Keychain 68mm blade (this with a brown handle). $9,96. My link - non aff-link

Sanrenmu F1-723 Stainless Steel Folding Knife w/ Pocket Knife 68mm (63mm is wrong) blade / gird pattern handle and F3 python skin pattern handle, liner lock, 8Cr13MoV. $9,91. My link - non aff-link

Also listed:
NITECORE D2 2-Slot Digital Battery Charger w/ LCD Display Screen Euro plug / compatible w/ Li-Ion / Ni-MH / Ni-Cd batteries. 2x 0,5A (not really fast) with US or EU plug for $21,68 and an additional car cable $23,92 (5% less with BLF). My link - non aff-link

In the last days more people speak about the Solarstorm T3 and T4 in this thread. I post only the T4 (with 4 XM-L). Yes, XM-L not XM-L2. SolarStorm T4 4*CREE XM-L U2 4-Mode (High, mid, low, hidden strobe is written in the thread) 3200LM Cool White LED Flashlight 3*18650 battery. $34,66 ($32,92 with BLF coupon). My link - non aff-link

SolarStorm Dx4 4*CREE XM-L U2 3-Mode (high, mid, sos) 3200LM Cool White LED Diving Flashlight 2*18650 / 2*26650 battery. Size(mm): 215 x 58 x 36 mm(body)- from another store, because the fasttech size is to short to be real. $41,26 (5% less with BLF). My link - non aff-link

The most beautiful version of the Sanrenmu 730: Sanrenmu LG8-730 Stainless Steel Pocket Hunting Knife Tactical Survival Folding Knife 72mm blade / w/ clip. $9,42. My link - non aff-link

GLO-TOOB FX 5*LED 15LM 7-Mode IPX8 Waterproof Blue or Yellow LED Diving Signal Lamp 1*A23 battery $22,35 (BLF don't work). My link - non aff-link

There is a new colored Sanrenmu 7046, which I have never seen before:
Sanrenmu 7046LTX-LPR-T3 Multi-Function Folding Knife Wrench Cone, Bottle Opener, glas breaker, 69mm blade / 58HRC / w/ clip. I have the silver liner version, the bigger brother RealSteel T96T, the gold liner SRM version is on the way. Do I need the green one? I think I will buy one with my net order. $12,53 My link - non aff-link

Has anyone tried this light yet?

here and here, and there may be more threads I'm missing - should be the same light. FT is late again as usual. It's funny how little they do, and months behind... It's getting frustrating with them.

I think flashlights are a good choice at the start. Since a few months vapor-things are the great market. Many other shops started it, too. Hope we will come back flashlights in a bigger way, if the vapor market is sated.

FT listed some new chargers of which looks like famous chargers with a new label Powerfocus. The price is as high as the version with the real company and the reason, why I don't post links or pictures. One looks like the BC3100 dreamcharger (FT price $53,75) and BC1000 ($38,07).

A few things which could be more interesting:
WLXY WL-7232 Diamond Cutting / Grinding Wheel Discs w/ Speed Needles 40mm + 35mm + 30mm + 25mm + 20mm grinding discs. $3,20. My link - non aff-link

WLXY WL-6701 Alloy Steel Cutting Saw Blade w/ Connecting Rod Set 2000RPM / 44mm + 35mm + 32mm + 25mm + 22mm blades. $5,67. My link - non aff-link

Stainless Steel Fast Hang Carabiner w/ hex wrench & bottle opener functions. I know this with a EDCgear or a leatherman logo. The FT tool don't show a logo on the pictures. Maybe it is photoshopped or unbranded. I like such small tools for the bunch of keys. $2,09. My link - non aff-link

Outdoor Activities Multi-functional Tactical Nylon Cellphone Bag w/ hanging hook & elastic band in black, brown and coyote camouflage. 135 x 75x 20mm. Useful for cellphones, knives small flashlights. Price $5,22. My link - non aff-link

This looks interesting. Wonder if the side lamp is using LED and what LED is used.

Not sure if a bargain/deal but I thought for an XML2 1x18650 light it’s gotta be decent for $11.50.

Nitecore EA41 XM-L2 T6, 52.69 USD (50.06 USD with 5% BLF coupon):

I don’t know about this flashlight quality, but 501b with XM-L2 can be found on eBay for under $9.
Convoy 502b is of a good quality and cheaper and with XM-L2 too

the ea41 is possible at banggood for 49,99 USD

Any coupon?

Looks like the BG deal is over. Email link leads to regular price.

Kinda tempted by the EA41, since the EA4 and SWM D40A and BS Rook always looked interesting, but I never jumped on a multiple-AA light since a C8 seems like the same output for a lower price in an easier format… and I only rarely need a C8 anyway.

It’s still an attractive idea though.

FWIW, I had an issue with a FastTech order recently.

I ordered about a dozen products, and one of the products was shown with an availability of a few days instead of “in stock”. A few days later, they sent a message saying they had shipped everything except that item, and would send it when it became available.

About two or three weeks later, FastTech contacted me again to say the item had been discontinued and they had sent me a refund for it. Paypal confirmed the refund.

The in-stock items arrived reasonably quickly considering where they came from, but my local post officer apparently lost or mis-delivered the package so I had to file a case with the local postal system. A few days later they found it and delivered it. That’s not FastTech’s fault though; this particular post officer seems to mis-deliver things pretty often.

In any case, I didn’t ask them to ship the available items first… they just did it and let me know afterward. And I didn’t ask for a refund. Again, I found out afterward. It was kind of a nice change, since it seems people usually have to go through Dispute Hell whenever anything goes wrong.

I was busy for a few days and here are some new nice products of the last days. I make two posts, because there are a lot of products.
Chinese law confirm knives of Sanrenmu of the blue line (the reason why not SRM is on the blade): Smaller balde, backlock.

This Stainless Steel Double Action Out-the-Front OTF Safety Knife has interesting deploying method. I bet it would be fun to play around with, but it might not be the cheapest or most practical knife out there for most uses.

FWIW, those Nite-Ize steel S-biners are really nice. Use them instead of split rings on a keychain, and it’s a lot easier to manage a bunch of items.
