Fenix Battery Dismantling Analyzering

Firstly, let’s clarify one thing: flashlight manufacturers do not have the ability to produce batteries. Or it may be necessary to produce batteries. Original batteries for flashlights are purchased from ready-made battery cells on the market. Secondary processing of protective plates/tips. Usually, people also joke that the original battery is a foreskin battery (with a battery cover)

Here is some battery I have collected. Welcome to add more.

Fenix 21700 battery is LGM50T

Fenix 4000P :Sumsung 40T

Fenix 18650-2600mah: BAK A34

I am sending it out to let everyone know what kind of battery cells are used in your flashlights. If your battery breaks down, you can buy an extra backup. You could also ask for new one within warranty period.
I usually test the true capacity of battery. LG Sumsung battery is OK.Do not trust unknown battery manufactuter totally.

Next time I will find out what battery is nitcore.

I unwrapped a Nitecore NL1835HP battery that had a damaged wrapper, underneath it was a Sanyo NCR18650GA. It’s a good cell, but the Sanyo costs 1/3 of what Nitecore charge for their re-wrapped version.

Vapcell P1835A (with integrated usb charging) has a BAK N18650CP cell under the wrap.

2 Thanks

Any of the name brands will use good cells, LG, Sanyo, Samsung, or at least good Chinese brands like BAK. Imalent heavily (or used to at least) used Samsung 40Ts in their 4000 mAh 21700s.

The Fenix ARB series 21700 batteries are probably shared (used) across Acebeam, Olight, Cyansky, and Nextorch products, meaning one company makes them.and sticks the appropriate label on.

That’s great!
