Finally the XHP70.2 emerges!

Wow, the difference is very visible to the eye, thanks for those shots. I'm going to get one and change the L6 with the smooth reflector. That link from mountain electronics doesn't show a star with the 70.2 attached. Is there anywhere else I can get one complete that you know of?

To be fair, here are the same pics at normal exposure. It’s not a big difference, but it’s noticable.

(Ignore the differences in brightness and color as these are auto camera settings and where taken on different days)

.

Ignore the pictures. Choose the 6 volt 20mm star from the options.

Still very noticeable with your new pictures, I really like the look of the light. Thanks, for the link too.

I’m having some “problems” with this XHP70.2 P2 3B from Kaidomain

http://www.kaidomain.com/p/S026863.Cree-XHP70_2-P2-3B-Neutral-White-5000K-LED-Emitter

I used it in my CW Acebeam L30 because I wanted a neutral white tint, however it loses more than 400lm with the change (From 3650lm to 3240lm)

I think it’s an error and this led isn’t a P2 bin, it’s older.

According to CREE: P2 bin is only available in 5700k and 4000k. That would explain why my Stock Acebeam K30 5000k is warmer than the 5000k led from Kaidomain

I ordered [This](http://www.kaidomain.com/p/S027211.Cree-XHP70_2-Neutral-White-4000K-LED-Emitter-with-20mm-x-1_5mm-DTP-Copper-MCPCB-6V-(-1-pc)

Hope it’s legit. I haven’t tested it yet. But maybe I’ll await the new driver from Texas ace before I start tearing open my BLF GT…

It should be legit, although the picture looks to be of a cooler tint then 4000k but they could just be reusing another picture.

I tested the first prototype driver Saturday, should be testing some more over the next few days.
