did ship today again some drivers

some People ask me if I may have a driver left, yes I got lots of em waiting for you

here the workflow on new Seeed boards
left 10x10cm PCB already drilled,
then cut them to 4 pieces, usually here use stencils to apply solder paste
next boards cut with side cutter in rough shape
now grinding them with a Dremel and 12mm sandpaper head
some boards are partial reflowed, so Narsil or Bistro parts added later
last step fully assembled boards ready to flash and test

I finally got one of my L6’s built w/this driver and love it.
Now for a couple clicky versions for a friend and I’s Z1 zoomies.

……no wires or springs

On another note, does anyone know if Dr.Jones Lucidrv2 will work on these boards for a clicky firmware ?
I have several of the H17F drivers with that firmware and like it a lot for clicky lights.

depends on the pinout
Indicator pin 7
FET pin3
1 AMC pin5
bank of AMCs pin6 this will not be used

of course rewiring possible to match the output channels, just lift the particular pins in the air on assembly and route small wires

Bistro HD is a good UI. I have just got so many different UI set-ups going on lately, it takes a second to remember what is in the one in my hand.

Anyway…….

Anyone already modded a Lumintop SD26!? I wonder if it’s possible to change a driver and keep usb charger?

If the charger is self contained, it could be done. You would probably have to design a unique driver board to accept the charging board on top.

Pilot dog did that with the Eagle Eye x2r light.

That SD26 driver looks like it carries the switch and emitter wires on the charging circuit. It looks very difficult.

VW Pieces added an new charging pcb to a Lexel driver, but he swapped to a magnetic charger plug and was a lot of work also.

Lexel, would you happen to know what kind of power limitations the TA driver has?

I know a 6v version can handle 20 amps, but can it handle 30 amps, 40 amps?

6V version may have at 30-40 Amps the problem with blown AMCs

the SIR 404 FET can handle 60A when solder point is up to 135°C hot
0.155mOhms at 3.5V
pulse drain current is low with only 100A, a dead short can kill it

lately I changed to PSMN1R5-30YLC on the 2S builds partially,
because the 404 has its advantaged below 5V, but on 2S the FET always gets 5V
1.6mOhms at 5V
this one is rated 100A at 150°C solder point
with pulse drain current of 1000A

next FET will be Infineon replacing the 404, even better characteristics
lower resistance
100A @125°C
1.2mOhms at 3.5V
pulse drain current 400A

Received and everything is great! I admittedly just skipped the switch indicator light as I wasn’t 100% sure what needed to be done, but may revisit it later. Getting 15,000 out of my MF01 now with all the ramping goodness of Narsil.
