Fireflylite E90 Blaze Reflector Version Coming ~

Should be calles E90 BAR for Big Ass Reflector.

Al reflector appears nicely finished. I’d be down for trying one out if FF is offering discounts for returning customers?

Thanks for putting up some pics of beam shots for comparison. The difference the aluminium reflector makes is just what I’m looking for in the X1 Pharos that currently has the TIR in it. I’m hoping for that classic side spill.

Oh I think we will have that spill (I want the same thing). Compare shrub and ground right at person’s feet; they are so much brighter, way OVER exposed, with the reflector beam.

Firefly red is extremely pretty to my eyes. When it’s time, I am going with red + reflector + SBT90.2.

Anyone ordering FFL 909MX-65 reflector model?

I’d like to know what is heat management (stepdown pre-set?)

…and before ordering, how’s overall beam performance?

Viewed my previous FFL orders are extinct. Which means I am now considered a first time order🤙

Is"Ivy" AI or human, hopefully not poison ivy;-)

Thx in advance!

1. The E90 uses Loneoceans-Lume driver, and AFAIK the factory preset for these drivers is 50 C. For runtime look at the excellent 1lumen review HERE.
2. Yes Ivy is quite human. She’s the one helping you with orders and problems. Her email is at the bottom of this page HERE.
3. Owners have posted beamshots that show rings. I re-posted some of their pictures here. For a distant thrower and based on my experience with my own T9R and Wurkkos TS30s, peripheral rings likely don’t bother me because they will be so faint compared to the hotspot by 50-100 years etc. But YMMV and this is just a guess as I don’t have E90 yet.
4. If I buy the E90, I would choose SBT90.2 5700k and not the 909MX, even though 909MX is supposed to have around 10% higher output and throw. My choice has to do with the green tint of 909MX, at least in my reflector T9R.
SBT90.2 is green at low output but becomes less green and more tolereable at higher output. Duv actually becomes negative in the spill of my Wurkkos TS30S. Yes, a hint of rosiness in a superthrower! OTOH, 909MX is very, very green at low output and remains green at higher output. If you are allergic to green tint, I don’t recommend it. I took beamshots of my 3 lights below:
