I was looking into my orange one at a very low level and noticed some spots I thought might be on the TIR. I removed the bezel to check and saw two of the main led’s had what looked like burn marks on them and also the red wire seemed to be touching the TIR and is visible from the outside. Does this happen sometimes? I used turbo one time for a few seconds before disabling it and have set my upper level at the 100th step. This is not normal is it? I do love this light and will probably be getting a few more.
You have two defective LEDs and one may die soon!
Warranty-able
thanks for the pics
maybe try this:
I did do that, the spot does not come off either led.
These LEDs are damaged (burnt LES, or burnt phosphor layer).
Should be a case for warranty.
These small CSP LEDs are prone to damage by flux residue due to the very flat design (as most LEDs without silicone dome)
sorry to hear that
So whom do I contact wurkoes?

So whom do I contact wurkoes?
Sorry I don’t know, since I have only two lights from Wurrkos/Sofirn and no warranty claim was made by me
Did you buy it through their aliexpress store or from the website? Generally speaking I’ve had very good experiences with their warranty, for the times I’ve had defective lights show up.
If you got it on aliexpress you’ll have to send them a message using the “chat” feature.
If you got in on the website, send them an email, they’ll ask for a photo to verify and send you a replacement.
Either way, if there’s issues with the warranty then @ Wurkkos_Terry (here on BLF) might be able to help you out.

So whom do I contact wurkoes?
you could message Terry
or you could contact customer service by going to the Wurkkos website. There is a link that says Contact Us at the bottom of the page.
I hope you get it sorted.
I have done both of those things thanks
C

Which is a development build for testing purposes unfortunately.
It comes with some rough edges. You should update it to the latest release to get the best experience.
Oh. Great…
Mine is also: 0713 2023 07 29
I haven’t gotten into flashing new firmware (don’t have the connector, haven’t invested time to learn how to apply the firmware, obtain the right software and files, etc.). So… what pitfalls do I need avoid?
Btw, I have aux-LED set for RGB and low mode. Always happens that when I first turn off the light, the aux-LED are in high mode for 3 seconds before dropping back to low. My other TS10 (non-RGB) does not do this. Also… the switch – it’s a little “sloppy.” You can feel the switch cover is slightly loose. Just tapping the top results in a metal clicking sound. My older TS10 is tight, doesn’t do this. I prefer the older switch.
EDIT:
My 1 year old TS10 has this firmware: 2022 0709 07 04

Always happens that when I first turn off the light, the aux-LED are in high mode for 3 seconds before dropping back to low.
It is a new RGB feature called Post Off Voltage Display… you dont need to reflash, though it exists in the new firmware also. Most people are confused by it… it is one of the most common complaints from new adopters.
look at the bottom of the flowchart in post 1, I put a green box around the instructions to turn that feature off.

I hadn’t yet looked over the updated flowchart in detail – thanks for the explanation. Nice to see that this is intentional with some information conveyance involved. In that case, I may actually like it.

I may actually like it.
another option is to just set the Aux to Always display Voltage color… if youre into that… I still check voltage w 3C… my disco days are far behind…
but if youre into blinkies, you could even use the Post Voltage Display followed by full RGB Disco…
the beauty of Anduril is that Disco is optional…
(ask me how I really feel ) lol

I use the high level blink in situations where I’m going to be setting down my light in various places and want to be sure I can find it easily. But that’s seldom. Otherwise, like you I’m not into using disco mode. I frequently use the 3C voltage check, which is pretty accurate.

If you dont normally use Lockout, if you want blink, you can just put the light in lockout. We can set the Aux in Lockout, independent of Aux when unlocked.
I actually have my lockout set to High Brightness green, for the rare times when I want to use the Aux for illumination. My unlocked Aux is Low brightness Red.
btw, the 3C batt check on V2, by default uses the Aux in Voltage Color Display mode… I change that to Red (personal preference)

I do use lockout periodically, like at times when pocket carrying. By habit I have aux set to off in that case, although I’ve learned that aux-low has such a very slight parasitic drain.

I normally keep my older TS10 on aux-low (red) for unlocked, and then off for locked. Good to know about green being particularly bright, for a moonlight alternative.

So, there’s now a menu option to change the aux color just for the 3C voltage blink display?

correct… while in batt check do 3C to cycle the blink display colors
fwiw, using Blink in Lockout supposedly has similarly low power consumption as Low…
The beauty of Anduril is that the blinky options are endless, with more to come… LOL
