Big and medium mostly. I do have boxes for some small lights but many small ones I’ll probably just bubblewrap and put in one large box.
Perfect setup.
Me too, using a large, clear Sterilite container for my EDC gear boxes, including flashlights.
For everything else, I’ll generally save the box of items that I’ll want to protect for moving purposes, especially electronics, or until the product’s date of return has expired. So I’d say at least 85% of all boxes are broken down and recycled.
A few years ago an oil Co. went bust and abandoned half a floor in the building where Mrs. Jeff has offices.
The building guy said she could take anything she wanted.
These were fully furnished offices with desks, tables, bookshelves Etc.
The file room had these nifty lateral file cabinets. Sort of like a barristers bookshelf.
In these after the front is lifted, it slides into the cabinet. Then the shelf slides out so I can get at everything. Even in the back of the drawers.
Didi I take some?
Hell Yes!! Like ALL of them!
These run about $1000 a pop for new ones. These needed some TLC to get them into prime shape.
Also scored a couple of bookcases, a table, and several chairs.
If I wasn’t so old and cripped up I would have dismantled the desks just to get the wood.
So for the cost of having a moving crew take the things to our house. I’m into these things for Nada.
Got all sorts of crap in them. Super easy to get to if I can remember which drawer they are in. Got 30 drawers of storage in my hobby room. And 12 more drawers in the garage.
All the Best,
Jeff
Jackpot! That sounds awesome
