This seems to be new in the last few weeks, lots of interesting lights, they use AAA, AA, C or D cells, and are somewhat underdriven (we know how to fix that at BLF)
Right click/view image to see full size, they state lumens, brightness and batteries
Sorry about the photo quality, all i had was my phone
Totally different selection state side. Our flashlight walls are covered in Dorcy, Rayovac, Energizer, Black and Decker, and Coast to name a few. Not including the universal constant of maglite.
It seems really strange to bring in “Police” lights. Someone consciously made the decision to brand the lights “Police” - it’s a pretty popular name by default but I don’t think that the lights already branded that way encompassed such a full range. Someone had to decide they wanted all those lights branded Police and tell a factory or two to do it. If you chose to do that why wouldn’t you go with something that could become a protected brand (Police cannot at this point) similar to Defiant or Convoy?
Maybe they don’t care about brand building and just wanted an escape hatch in a couple of directions:
A. Problems happen. It wasn’t our fault, we got the wrong “Police” branded lights!
B. Out of stock, what to do? Order random Police branded lights already made at another factory and available in quantity from some distributor.
I don’t think there’s a long term plan wight, just a distributor that signed up to sell Walmart cheep lights.
They have a decent selection, two different aspheric throwers, pen lights, keychain lights, multi aa lights and huge multi d cell flashlights. A company that makes a low to medium quality light that looks cool will thrive in Walmart but would tank on its own
That was my goal, pictures of each individual one would have taken forever, i do wish i had a 8-10MP point and shoot camera with me though, it would have much better readability
