I bought a few, hoping that the 18650 aren't completely garbage and can be reworked to a decent thing perhaps even changing it to 2P config.

Perhaps some1 was looking for those.

Cautionary note: those 18650 holders look like dx sku 100999... I've got a couple of those, and they're crap. Wires are super thin, case is hard to get protected batteries in and out of, and biggest-worst is that they only work with button tops (not the aw 2900s I stuck in).

edit to add: ... and just to make you laugh, DX deleted my negative review of the above... so I 'asked' a question that pointed out all the negatives. We'll see how long until that gets deleted...

This one is not so cheap, but it has a protection board, there are many other configs from this seller, anyone has tried it yet?
